Just trying out some arm anatomy practice and I'm so proud of it! Take a look:

So, what I did here was, first, take a picture of the entire arm anatomy. Second, I simplified the arm into balls and cylinders (the gray shapes) whilst making sure to add some guidelines to make it more consistent and easier to draw. Third and lastly, I drew around the guidelines to make this wonderous piece!

So far, this is for the front view of the arm (by itself), so I don't know if the simplified arm (the gray shapes) might be consistent entirely with drawing the arm at some specific angles, but it's a start, I guess.

If y'all have an easier way to simplify the arm and/or some other anatomy tips, don't hesitate to reply!

Tried some anatomy practice in two days. It does look good, but I don't know if this is right. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Have you ever had one time where you were so proud of your WIP art/animation/music/whatever, that right after you save for the day, you go on the bed, start kicking your feet up and down, and giggle uncontrollably?

Happened just yesterday for me and I don't regret it.

Hey there y'all! Just wanted to let you know that yes, I finished my Pencil2D animation and submitted it to the collab around January, the 11th. Hope to see others in the collab as well!

Now the second part: Some coloring practice. Take a look:

A follow-up to my ribcage practice post. Did some coloring practice on Krita (The software I use for making art pieces) this week and wanted to show you. The balls are numbered by what order I did them. Is the shading of the balls consistent? No, I just shaded it according to what I felt looked better. Despite that, I do love how nice it looks!

If you want to give out some constructive criticism regarding this shading and coloring, then be my guest. Constructive feedback is welcome.

(P.S. Also, I think it's really funny that the collab deadline is the same as my birthday, lol)

I have now finished the penning stage of the first section of my Pencil2D Cartoon as well as the backgrounds halfway (I say halfway, as I need to add more stuff.) All I just need to do is finish the rotoscoping (halfway as well) and backgrounds, and pop it all into a video editing software for post-production! :D

However, there will be some upcoming time constraints since school opens next week. School won't take up most of the day, as I leave early, but I just wanted to get that out to let y'all know that I won't be working on the animation as much as often.

Alrighty, it seems like I'm finished with the sketching/storyboarding/animatic/whateveryoucallit with my cartoon for the Pencil2D Collab event, hooray! As of now, there remains (at least) two points of production left:

1. Penning/Cleaning the entire animation
2. Do some sort of rotoscoping (for de funnis, of course :3) (Optional) [fingers crossed]
3. Cram it all in a video editing software to process the entire works (I used a lot of .pclx files for this to work)

Now, I'll admit, I've really never done video editing before, so this'll be my first foray into how it works. Hopefully, in the end, it doesn't come out as fucked or anything like that.

Hi everyone! I was browsing the news here and discovered that there's a collab featuring animations made in Pencil2D! And it just so happens that I use the software as well! :D

Been using it from at least January of 2023. While I used it to draw art and post it on here, I did try to make a few animations before the switch to painting. So hopefully I'll make an animation by the time the deadline finishes!

If there's something I want to make a plot out of, I guess it would be something around young me stumbling onto YouTube at my elementary school computer and getting in trouble from it (Yes this is real). Otherwise, I'll just make an animation about cats... or something... lol :P

Had this the other day where I tried doing some ribcage drawing practice and decided to post this.

I'm not really a good fan of drawing something that required circular shapes, but I guess if you want to improve, you got to get out of your comfort zone every once in a while.

I'll try following this up with more anatomy content, but for now, I gotta work on finishing the 15-day draws.

Alright guys, so I just wanted to let you know that I am ALMOST finished with the submission for madness day 2024. It took WAY MORE time than expected due to nagging things such as procrastination, personal things, and high school to top it off. (Ain't that a bitch...)

The good news is that it will be my greatest piece to date ever since I started at Newgrounds, mainly because it's a sort of a love letter for all the childhood memories the site gave me. :3 The bad news, however, is that there's a lot of things I have to add before submission. Mainly the terrain decorations and bodies and such. :P I also practically rushed with a few things so it may not look as good, but it is what it is. Luckily, I can try to crunch through it all for, perhaps the entirety of Saturday tomorrow.
